Praise God

So after feeling inspired with my new favorite song "The birds" by Auburn, I decided to work on a painting.
Many of times, I've forgotten about God, I did things for my own wisdom and sins because of my own selfishness. But he's still here with me, blessed me, guide my way, forgive my sins. I'm thankful to God and I'm grateful for what he has given me in my life.
Thank you father, for everything that you do, and thank you for your guidance.

Experimenting with watercolor

I wouldn't say this is my first time using watercolor, I've tried them before but in High School art classes, but it wasn't anything serious.
However, I really like the color and the abstract of watercolor gives out into the artworks so I would like to experiment with it more.

I did two artworks using watercolor, I know I'd have to improve a lot more.

Wedding Gown Design #2

Another design with a Bateau neckline. :)
But this time my design is a two layers of an A-line dress, the first layer is high-low style, and the second is a full A-line bottom that flare out till the end. The fibers and textures of the two layers though, however, will be different. You see this bottom dress? It was created by Cocoe Voci, Spring 2014 collection. The texture of the bottom of this dress is what I would want my first layer to be, soft but thick kind of texture feel.

And the second layer of my design dress, I would want the fabrics to be flowy so something close to chiffon-like type of fabric. Here is another example of how I would want my fabric to look like for the second layer.

Here are the process of my design.

Hope you guys can see the texture.

The finish work.

Wedding Gown Design #1

My first post of wedding dress designing.

In this design I chose to go for a Bateau-like neckline which covered up any cleavages. This enhance the collarbone as well as showing natural curves of the chest area.

For the bottom of the dress, I used mixture of princess ball gown style dress, which is very poofy and spread out, and mermaid style, which is tighten up at the waist, hip, down to thigh area (not yet to the knees in my design), then flare out till the end.

I used newsprint type of paper to sketch this on, it helps the white color to stand out more when I color them in.

This is the finish look of how my design turn out. My scanner isn't the best to work with so the quality isn't perfect either. But this is my first post of my design, please enjoy! :D

Kid Cudi for my boyfriend!

For my boyfriend's 20th birthday, I decided to made him a drawing of his favorite musician, Kid Cudi.

Didn't take pictures during my process but basically I bought a black canvas from Hobby Lobby craft store, also Master's touch chalk
The pictures that I used to draw my pictures were

All these pictures were found on google.com
The canvas was pretty big, it took me approximately 5 hours or so to finished everything. I'm usually not a type of artist that draw realistic works but I was very satisfied with the result of this piece of art work to turn out the way I want it.
So basically I did not have any techniques or steps of how and where that I begin to draw with. I just slightly, very slightly, sketch an outline in pencil of the size that I want the artwork to be, after that I decided to used chalk right on. After finished drawing, I used Krylon Workable Fixatif and sprayed to protect the chalk from smudging and fading away. I only have one picture of it but hopefully it's detail enough for you guys to see :)

See you guys in my next blog~! Bye bye!!
